Investment mandate
Our aim is to invest in the Physical Components behind data centres, the basic qualities we look for are as follows
Location: Access to reliable and affordable power, network connectivity, and suitable climate are crucial. Proximity to potential customers and disaster resilience also play a role.
Land and Construction: Land availability, cost, and building regulations impact the physical layout and design of the facility. Energy efficiency, disaster resistance, and scalability needs are key considerations.
Power and Cooling: Data centres are power-hungry beasts. Access to robust and redundant power systems is essential, along with efficient cooling methods like air conditioning or liquid immersion to manage heat dissipation.
Security: Physical and cyber security are paramount. Strict access control, surveillance systems, and robust firewalls are necessary to protect sensitive data.
IT Infrastructure: Choosing the right servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and software is crucial for functionality, performance, and scalability.
